NO DOG DAYS OF SUMMER

While July set records for heat in the USA and parts of America are still burning up, it is only 55 degrees right now at 2:00 p.m. in Petersburg, and the high may only reach 60 degrees later this afternoon.

And speaking of dogs, while we have seen some dogs here in Petersburg, we certainly have not seen as many as we did in the large cities of Rome and Paris. The Animal Planet is on our satellite TV, but in the stores, cats and dogs don't seem to be catered to as they do in the states with a multitude of products.
